Mulligan has found hauliers for logistics users and has worked with both parties to ensure the right quality standards are introduced and maintained. -This allows customers to deliver their goods efficiently and economically with the carrier best suited to their needs. 

Sales:

A telesales campaign can be the most effective way to find new customers for a haulier in need of new business. We have used telemarketing successfully to promote the services of many haulage businesses and  suppliers to the haulage industry to good effect.  

Procedural reviews:

Mulligan has conducted reviews of operational systems and procedures for both carriers and customers, including IT assessments aimed at improving productivity and profitability. 

Member recruitment for pallet networks

Jon Reyner has been involved with the Haz Chem Network since the very early days. Today Jon helps the HCN find and vet members when the need arises and helps new members through the membership process and the first few months of membership.

Operational reviews:

Mulligan successfully reviewed and reported recommendations on the operations at a national pallet distribution hub that saved an estimated £1.65M over 2 years.

Product design in logistics:

In 2008 Jon Reyner came up with the original concept for the 'Curtain-Clear' trailer. The trailer is designed to improve load capability as well as improve trailer turnaround times at hubs without compromising safety. This innovative trailer is now recognised as a major step forward for the pallet distribution sector and used by hauliers in all major pallet networks.

Introducing new products into transport: 

Mulligan is working with Peter Ulleri of POINT2TALK to introduce a multi lingual translation book for drivers who work in Europe as well as a warehouse version to assist UK warehouse operators communicate with foreigh drivers effectively. For mor information please go to the links page.
